Terms and Conditions for All Keyed Up Piano Shop

  1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the All Keyed Up Piano Shop website (https://allkeyeduppiano.com/) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

  1. Products and Services

 

3.1 Piano Sales

    • We sell used and restored pianos including Steinway, Yamaha, Baldwin, Mason & Hamlin, and many other quality brands
    • All piano specifications, conditions, and descriptions are provided to the best of our knowledge
    • Pianos are sold “as is” unless otherwise specified in writing. This means that if there is any structural issue that prevents the piano from staying in tune and/or performing as it was designed, we will cheerfully exchange the piano for another of the same price, at no cost to you.

3.2 Restoration, Refinishing & Repair Services

    • We provide piano restoration, refinishing, repairs, tuning, and maintenance services
    • Service estimates are provided in good faith and may be subject to change based on actual conditions discovered
    • Additional work beyond original estimates requires customer approval

3.3 Private Tours and Consultations

    • Private tours and consultations are available by appointment
    • Appointments may be rescheduled with reasonable notice

 

  1. Pricing and Payment

 

4.1 Pricing

    • All prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice
    • Prices do not include applicable taxes, delivery, setup, or other fees unless specified
    • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors

 

4.2 Payment Terms

    • Payment is due upon order unless other arrangements are made in writing
    • We accept cash, check, credit cards, and financing (subject to approval)
    • A deposit may be required for custom orders or major restoration & refinishing services

 

  1. Orders and Delivery

 

5.1 Order Acceptance

    • Your order constitutes an offer to purchase
    • We reserve the right to accept or decline any order
    • Order confirmation will be provided via email and/or phone

5.2 Delivery and Setup

    • Delivery fees are additional and based on location and other setup & tuning services required
    • Professional delivery and setup is highly recommended for all pianos
    • Customer is responsible for providing adequate access and placement location
    • Delivery is setup by customer with 3rd party preferred piano moving services. 
    • Customer is responsible for negotiating and paying all fees associated with shipping, delivery and setup.

 

  1. Return and Exchange Policy

 

6.1 Piano Sales

    • Returns must be authorized in advance and are subject to a restocking fee of $250. It is our policy that you are completely satisfied with your piano, or we will gladly allow exchanges for a similar piano in the same general price range. 
    • When a return is authorized, the customer is responsible for return shipping and insurance, and any damage caused during transport
    • Special orders and custom work are not returnable
    • Return requests must be made within 10 days of delivery

6.2 Restoration Services

    • Services rendered cannot be returned, but we guarantee our workmanship
    • Any issues must be reported within 10 days of service completion

 

  1. Warranties

 

7.1 Used Pianos

    • Our 10 Year Guaranteed Serviceable Warranty backs every used piano we sell. This means that if there is any structural issue that prevents the piano from staying in tune and/or performing as it was designed, we will cheerfully exchange the piano for another of the same price, at no cost to you.
    • We are not the manufacturer and disclaim all warranties except as expressly provided

7.2 Restored Pianos

    • Restored pianos carry our limited warranty on restoration work performed
    • Warranty terms will be provided in writing with each piano we restore

7.3 Repair Services

    • We warrant our repair work for 6 months from the completion date
    • Warranty covers workmanship only, not normal wear and tear

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

 

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

    • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service
    • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
    • We are not responsible for damage due to misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear

 

  1. Customer Responsibilities

 

9.1 Piano Care

    • Customer is responsible for proper care and maintenance of pianos
    • Environmental conditions (humidity, temperature) affect piano condition
    • Regular tuning and maintenance are customer’s responsibility

9.2 Access and Safety

    • Customer must provide safe, adequate access for delivery and service
    • Customer assumes responsibility for any damage due to inadequate access

 

  1. Intellectual Property
    • All content on our Website is our property or used with permission
    • You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission
    • Product images and descriptions are for reference only

 

  1. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which governs the collection and use of your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless All Keyed Up Piano Shop, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

    • Your use of our services or Website
    • Your violation of these Terms
    • Your violation of any third-party rights
    • Any damage to property or injury during delivery or service calls that results from your negligence

These Terms are governed by Missouri state law. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Missouri statutes and regulations. Specific Missouri provisions include:

    • Consumer protection rights under Missouri Merchandising Practices Act
    • Lien rights for repair services as provided under Missouri law
    • Collection practices in accordance with Missouri debt collection statutes

We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any issues before pursuing formal legal action.

14.2 Jurisdiction and Venue

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our Website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered customers when possible.
